Much more than just a ferry crossing

SeaFrance is continuing the renewal of its fleet with the arrival of the SeaFrance Molière. She will be the first ship of over 200 metres to cross the English Channel. With the arrival of the SeaFrance Rodin in 2001, and her sister-ship the SeaFrance Berlioz joining the Dover - Calais route in 2005, SeaFrance's fleet has been completely modernised.

The company employs a total of 1,700 staff, including 1,200 seagoing personnel and is the largest employer in the town of Calais. Its British subsidiary, SeaFrance Limited based in Dover, employs approximately 200 members of staff.

SeaFrance places great importance on safety. Its crews undergo rigorous safety training and undertake regular safety exercises to ensure they are completely prepared to face any emergency situation.

SeaFrance is a Limited Company. Its current director is Mr. Pierre Fa.
